Overview -
The Bonnyville Regional Airport is located 3 kilometers north of the Town of Bonnyville and occupies a land area of approximately 77.63 acres. The airport serves as a point of call for commercial, corporate and general aviation, and services both private and commercial rotary winged and fixed-wing operators located on site.
Bonnyville Regional Airport is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and is capable of supporting Visual Flight Rules (VFR) operations of aircraft. The maneuvering area consists of one runway and a joining taxiway system plus a public apron.
The primary runway is 4,433 feet long by 75 feet wide asphalt.
Bonnyville Regional Airport is unmanned. The airport is maintained by the Town of Bonnyville Public Works Department.

Fees and Charges
The following fees and charges are effective July 1, 2002:

Lot Lease Rates a) $0.05 per square foot/annum

Aircraft Parking Fees – Grass a) $200 per unit per year b) $125 per unit per half-year (six months) c) $5.00 per unit minimum charge (48 hours) or $10 per week

Aircraft Parking Fees – Tarmac a) $10 per day (minimum of four hours) or $100 per month

Landing Fees a) Turboprops and Jets – $20 b) Pistons – $10 over 3,000 kg.

Terminal Building Lease Rates – to be negotiated by Administration as requested.
Additional Notes:
Fees for Section 2 will not be applied to aircraft on a leased lot.
Bonnyville Flying Club recreational members will not be invoiced landing fees as long as a lot lease or aircraft parking fees are assessed.
Bonnyville Flying Club commercial members are to be charged the landing fees to a maximum of $500 per year.
Flying School “touch and goes” are not charged landing fees.
Agricultural spray planes to be charged a maximum of $100 per day.
No fees will be charged for “Fly-In Breakfasts.”
